She was born May 1, 1941 at Lane, Oklahoma to Allen and Mary Jones Carnes. She married Marshall Allen in 1979 at Miami, Oklahoma.
A member of the Pentecostal faith, Mrs. Allen was a retired truck driver. She and her husband drove trucks until their retirement.
Elizabeth was survived by her husband; four step-sons; two step-daughters; twenty-two step-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; and five sisters.
Graveside services were held Monday, September 29, 1997, in the Soper cemetery with Reverend Bertram E. Bobb officiating. Burial was under direction of Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home of Hugo, Oklahoma.
