Kerry Skains Fest, 49, of Ft. Worth, Texas, formerly of Bellmead, passed away Sunday, May 20, 2012, in Maui, Hawaii. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, May 26, at Bellmead Calvary Baptist Church with Dr. Gerald McKelroy officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Antioch Cemetery in Limestone County. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 25, at Bellmead Funeral Home.

Kerry was born in Waco, Texas, to Donald and Sallie (Key) Skains. She graduated from LaVega High School and married Glen Fest on May 8, 1995. She was a former dental assistant, had worked in medical transcription and done other office work. Kerry was a past member of Bellmead Calvary Baptist Church and had attended Harvest Baptist Church in Illinois and First Baptist Church in Saginaw, Texas.

Survivors include her husband, Glen Fest, of Ft. Worth; her parents, Donald and Sallie Skains, of Bellmead; sisters, Belynda Mize and husband, Darrell, of Gatesville, and Theda Beckwith and husband, Rodney, of Maine; brothers, Roger Skains and wife, Glenda, Tim Skains, and Nolan Skains and wife, Mindy, all of Waco; and numerous nieces and nephews.
