Grace Lillian Comer, 90, of Des Moines, passed away Monday, June 20, 1983, at Heather Manor there. She had lived most of her life in the Lorimor area before moving to Des Moines in 1972.

Grace Lillian Cook was born Nov. 4, 1892 in Union County, the daughter of Samuel and Maggie (Reber) Cook. On July 17, 1913 she was married to Ernest Cornelison, who passed away January 1, 1929. In August, 1930 she was married to Truman Comer in Bethany, Missouri. He preceded her in death in October, 1963.

Mrs. Comer was a homemaker and a member of the United Methodist Church of Lorimor and the Order of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Harold (Leah) Larrabee and Mrs. Ralph (Enid) Wilson of Cedar Falls and Mrs. Vera Comer of Afton; a son, Leonard Cornlison of Waterloo; 13 grandchildredn; 30 great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildre; a sister Mrs. Hazel Shultz of Creston and a brother, Dr. Laurence Cook of Sun City, Arizona.

She was preceded in death by a stepson, a sister and a brother.
