Bessie passed on Saturday, October 10, 2015 in Cookeville. Bessie Mai Allen was born on December 16, 1931 in Putnam County, Tennessee to the late Willie Austin McCormick and Pearl Mai (Burnett) McCormick.
Bessie was of the Baptist faith and was a homemaker. She loved to watch the birds, squirrels, and her roses at her home.
She was also preceded in death by her Husband: Cecil C. Allen on February 4, 2008; 2 Sisters: Joyce McCormick and Jean Wyrick; 3 Brothers: Joe, Charles, and J.D. McCormick.
Her survivors include:
