William “Willie” Henry Allen, 48, of Cookeville, passed away suddenly Tuesday, December 12, 2017, in Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
Funeral Services for Mr. Allen will be held at 11:00am on Friday from the Chapel of Whitson Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Paran Cemetery in Overton County. William’s family will receive friends from 4:00pm until 9:00pm on Thursday and from 10:00am until time of services on Friday at the funeral home.
Mr. Allen was born on April 25, 1969 in Cookeville TN to the late Cecil Clennie and Bessie Mai McCormick Allen.
William grew up on the family farm and had a love for all animals including his dog, Addie and his cat, Jack. He enjoyed fishing and woodworking but most of all loved spending time with his family and friends. He was a member of Algood First Baptist Church. He spent his entire career in Plumbing and maintenance. He was employed by G & G Properties.
William is survived by his daughters, Tara Allen and Brandi and Zeb Gentry, a sister, Cecilia Ann Fraser, and his Mother-in-law Claudine Talley.
In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by, his wife, Cathy Darlene (Talley) Allen, a brother-in-law, Clarence Fraser and his father-in-law, Charles Talley
