Edward Hostettler, 75, of R. 2, Hilbert, died at his home Friday evening after a short illness.

Born Aug. 1, 1889, in the town of Stockbridge, Mr. Hostettler spent his entire life in the area. He was a farmer. His parents were the late Mr. and Mrs. Gotlieb Hostettler.

Survivors are his wife, Mary, six daughters, Mrs. Joseph Wagner, Racine; Mrs. John Hermans, Kaukauna; Mrs. Melvin Halbach, Marytown; Mrs. Alfred Berkholz and Mrs. Edward Ruffing, both of R. 2, Hilbert and Mrs. Denver Heller, R. 1, Chilton; three sons, Robert and Conrad, both of Kaukauna, and Clarence, Appleton; a sister, Mrs. Anna Weinhart, Crivitz; 33 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Stockbridge, and burial was in the parish cemetery.
