FORT WORTH - Bettye Jo Frazier, 68, a retired cosmetologist, departed from this life Wednesday, Oct. 20, 1999, in Fort Worth.

Funeral: 2 p.m. Saturday at Willow Creek Baptist Church. Burial: Laurel Land Memorial Park.

Bettye Jo Frazier was born April 4, 1931, in Itasca and was one of 12 children born to Tom Morrell Bounds Sr. of Milford and Edna Fannie Shine of Itasca. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be missed by her family and friends. Bettye loved playing cards and dominoes. She and her husband, James, enjoyed traveling in their fifth wheel and attending church together. Most of all, Bettye was known for her love and laughter, and admiration of her children and grandchildren.

Survivors: Her husband of 48 years, James Frazier of Fort Worth; son, John Frazier of Fort Worth; daughter, Vicki Woodard and her husband, Sam; brothers, George Bounds of Liberal, Kan., and Robert Bounds of Bay St. Louis, Miss.; sisters, Mary Smith of Fort Worth, Charlotte Wooten of Rendon and Shirley York of Alvarado; grandchildren, James "J.P." Woodard and Lauren Woodard, both of Burleson; and many loved cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
