Age 58, he is the fifth known child of August and Barbara Lorenz Wiler. He married Catherine Wierchowski, 21 August 1910. On 9/18/1918, Michael G. Wiler, registered for the WWI draft. He lived at 936 East 26th Street, Erie, Pa. He is 27 and his occupation is part owner Prada Street Taxi Cab Company, in Erie. He claims exemption due to spinal trouble. His height is tall, his weight is medium and he is not obviously physically disqualified. His hair is gray, his eyes are light and he is bald.

He died at Hamot Hospital and at the time, his occupation is listed as retired from Wile-McLain Co. He is buried on February 26 in Calvary Cemetery.

2/24/1948. Appearing in the Tuesday Erie, PA Daily Times page 17: Michael Wiler The Very Rev. Msgr. W. Lawrence Franklin will celebrate a solemn requiem mass at 9a.m. Thursday in St. George's R. C. church for Michael Wiler, fifty-eight, 5128 Richmond St., who died suddenly Monday of a heart attack while driving his car at 21st and Peach Sts. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery. Wiler, a former employe of the Weil-McLain Co., is survived by his wife, Mrs. Catherine Wiler; a sister, Mrs Ralph Bemis, and four brothers, August, John, William and Raymond Wiler, of Erie. Wiler was a member of St. George's Men's Council.
