Mr. John D. Braught
Mrs. Alice S. Braught, wife of John D. Braught, 1405 Spring Road, died this morning at her home after an illness of eight weeks. She was 86 years old.
Mrs. Braught was born at Warm Springs, Perry County, on Apr. 4, 1870, a daughter of the late George and Mary Dunkelberger Reiber. She was a member of the First Evangelical and Reformed Church and the Margaret E. Groh Sunday School Class.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons and a daughter, Lisle, Mifflinburg: Ross E., Kansas City, Mo., and Mrs. John Trimmer and Harold J. Braught, both of Carlisle, six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the J. R. Shulenberger Funeral Home 169 West High Street. Rev. Robert W. Roschy will officiate. Burial will be in the Old Graveyard. Friends may call on Friday night from 7:30 to 9 o'clock at the funeral home.

Funeral services for Mrs. Alice S. Braught, 1405 Spring Road, who died on Wednesday, were held on Saturday in the J.R. Shulenberger Funeral Home. Rev. Robert W. Roschy officiated Burial was in the Old Graveyard. The pallbearers were Charles Grove, Roger Todd, Robert Lininger, Eugene Wagner, Samuel Hertzler and David Wetzel.
