Jack was born April 15, 1931 in Hominy to Edward O. and Ethel Mae (Long) Blue. He passed away May 20, 2012 in Tulsa at the age of 81.

Jack retired after 38 years as a meat cutter for Safeway and Homeland. He attended school in Hominy and went on to serve in the United States Army. Jack loved driving around in the truck and would visit and eat with the senior citizens. His goal in life was to "out-do" any teenager because he didn't feel like he was 81.

He is survived by his three children; eleven grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Oliver and Ethel Blue; sisters, Ada Blue, Nancy Bell Blue, Shirley Blue, Edna Mae Blue; brothers, George "Bozo" Blue, Floyd Blue, Jim Blue and Johnny Blue.

Funeral services for Jack Blue, of Tulsa, were held Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at Johnson Funeral Chapel in Sperry. Reverend Doyle Ginn officiated and burial was in A.J. Powell Memorial Cemetery in Hominy.

Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
