Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday, May 25, 2012, at the Runge Mortuary, Davenport. Visitation is one hour prior to the service and burial will be at National Cemetery, Rock Island Arsenal.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Scott County Humane Society.
Marilyn was born January 25, 1925, in Davenport, to John and Marie (Berg) Mohr. She was united in marriage to Willard M. Dannacher on June 29, 1945, at Langley Air Force Base, Virginia. He preceded her in death on June 14, 2002. Marilyn had been employed for 15 plus years as a data entry supervisor with JI Case, retiring in 1984. After retiring, she went on to work several more years with AAA Insurance, Bettendorf. Marilyn also served on the Scott County Humane Society Board for 40 years.
Survivors include a son, Dan Dannacher, Bettendorf; two daughters, Dr. Lynn Dannacher-Morris (Robert), Los Angeles, and Pam Zepeda (James), Davenport; two granddaughters, Sierra and Marilyn Morris; sister, Judy Welzenbach, of Wyoming; brother, Bernard Mohr, Davenport; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
