Davenport--Funeral services for Thekla M. Fuller, Davenport, will be noon Saturday in the All Faith Chapel of Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, Davenport. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park.
Visitation is 4-7 p.m. today at the funeral home. Mrs. Fuller died Wednesday, July 10, 2002, at Genesis Medical Center-West Campus, Davenport, after a brief illness.
Thekla Marie Mohr was born Feb. 5, 1919, in Davenport, the daughter of John and Marie (Berg) Mohr. She married George Fuller in April 1945 at Fort Lewis, Seattle, Wash. He preceded her in death in March 1987.
She graduated from the Davenport High School class of 1937. She worked as a librarian aide at Jefferson Elementary School, Davenport. Her memberships included St. Paul Lutheran Church and Davenport Policeman's Auxiliary and past MCO of Mohassan Caldron, Masonic Temple. Thekla loved spending time with her family and her special friends at the Masonic Temple.
Memorials may be made to American Heart Association or Alzheimer's Association of the Quad-Cities.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Jody and Larry Schroeder, Eldridge, Iowa; a son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Kathy Fuller, Davenport; sons, Jeff Fuller and Scott Fuller, both of Eldridge; sisters and brothers-in-law, Lois and Jack Arp, Davenport, Marilyn Dannacher, Davenport, Ellen Bateman, of Hawaii, Shirley and Jim Anderson, of Florida, and Judy and Fred Welzenbach, Las Vegas, Nev.; and a brother, Bernard Mohr, Davenport.
