Inez Scott Mansfield, 84, of 520 Liberty Street, California, formerly of Centerville, died Saturday, December 6, 1986, at 12:50 p.m. in Washington Hospital.
She was born December 9, 1901, in West Pike Run Township, a daughter of Clyde and Maude Hawkins Scott.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Centerville. She had been a resident of Centerville for the past 58 years.
Surviving are a son, Raymond Mansfield of California; a daughter, Shirley Helsel of Columbus, Ohio; three grandchildren, the Rev. David Mansfield of Carmichaels, and Kimberly Lynn Helsel and Scott Dale Helsel, both of Columbus, Ohio; two sisters, Florence Wright of Stockton, Calif., and Mrs. Gaylord (Rheyma) Hopkins of Altoona, Fla., and three brothers, Hawkins Scott of Roscoe, Leslie Scott of Sherman, Texas, and George Scott of Downey, Calif.
Her husband, Cecil N. Mansfield, died December 7, 1982. A daughter, Cecilia Faye Mansfield, died in infancy. A brother, Orville Scott, and a sister, Frances Scott, are deceased.
