Sister Eileen de Lourdes, O. Carm. (Sister Dorothy McShane), 89 years old, died on Thursday, May 17, 2012 at St. Patricks Manor in Framingham. Born in So., Boston, daughter of the late George and Annie (Erikson) McShane, she attended Garland and before entering religious life worked for Fulham Brothers Fish Company on the Boston Fish Pier. She entered the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm in 1958 and professed her final vows in 1965. Sister Eileen served the Carmelite Community in the business offices at Marian Manor in South Boston and at St. Patricks Manor in Framingham. During her religious life she enjoyed trips to Rome and Assisi. She was the beloved aunt of Donald Moulton and his wife Emma Jean of Milton and their children, Scott Moulton, Sarah Jane Burrows, Anna Lisa Cunningham and Amy Hatol and six grandnieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a brother, George F. McShane and two sisters, Rita C. McShane and Virginia (McShane) Moulton. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday. May 24, 2012 at 10 a.m. in the Holy Family Chapel of St. Patricks Manor, 863 Central St., Framingham. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Burial will follow in the family lot St. Joseph Cemetery in West Roxbury. Calling hours will be on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 from 2 to 7 p. m. at the Holy Family Chapel of St. Patricks Manor, Framingham. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Eugene J. McCarthy and Sons Funeral Home, 11 Lincoln Street, Framingham.
