Thomas J. Moore
Thomas J. Moore, 66, 829 S. E. 35th Terr., died Sunday, July 13, at a Topeka Hospital.

Mr. Moore was a sales representative for Henry Manufacturing Co. for five years, for Faeth Co. in Kansas City, Mo., 25 years, and for English Brothers in Kansas City for two years.

He was born Feb. 28, 1920 at Burlingame, the son of Thomas E. and Ruby V. Carmichael Moore. He spent most of his life in Topeka and graduated from Highland Park High School in 1937.

Mr. Moore served in the U. S. Navy from August 4, 1941, to Feb. 28, 1954. He was a member of Capitol Post No. 1 of the American Legion and Disabled American Veterans.

He was married to Frances Degenhardt May 16, 1947, in Topeka. She survives.

Other survivors include two daughter, Carol Taylor and Cindy Frost, both of Topeka; a son, Terry Moore, Newton; his mother, Mrs. Ruby V. Moore, Topeka; and two granddaughters.

Services will be at 1:30 p. m. Wednesday at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home. Burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, No. 1, E. 34th, Kansas City, Mo., 64111, to the Kansas Heart Association, 5373 W. 7th, 66606, or to the United Methodist Youthville, P. O. Box 210, Newton, 67114.
