Mary Ellen was raised in the Bunger community in Young County. She moved with her husband to Mineral Wells in 1915. Her health failed in 1920 and the family moved to Fort Worth.

Mrs. Mollie Johnson, 60, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. L. T. Brogdan, 1500 East Morphy Street, at 2 a.m. Tuesday. Besides Mrs. Brogdan, she is survived by two sons, Charles of Mineral Wells and Odell of Post; one sister, Mrs. Edward Parsons of Graham, and a granddaughter, Miss Gladys Brogdan of Fort Worth. Funeral services will be held at the Brogdan residence at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
