According to 1880, Council Grove, Morris County, Kansas Federal Census, Albert Withington was married living in Council Grove & working as a Clerk in a grocery store. Appears to have dropped out of Census after the 1880 Federal Census. Probably died after 1880 but before his brother George Edward Withington in 1898. Albert is listed on the Calif. Voter Registers in 1888 as 40 years old, born in Kansas, working as a carpenter and living in San Bernardino, California. This would have been 10 years before his brother George E. Withington passed on. Another source is saying, Albert was born in Iowa in 1846 & passed away 27 Jan 1918 at Truscott, Kansas (this may be Truscott, Texas--no known town in Kansas named Truscott).
