Esther Ann Dennison, daughter of Sarah and Jonathan Dennison, was born in Linn County, September 9, 1860. On July 4, 1876, she was united in marriage to Frank Martin and to this union two children were born, Jay and Harry, both of this vicinity.
She departed this life June 1, 1932, at the age of 71 years, 8 months and 27 days. She leaves to mourn their loss the two children and three grandchildren and one great grandchild, also two sisters, Mrs. Emma Hunter, and Mrs. Alice Hunter, and one brother, William Dennison, besides many other relatives and friends.
The funeral was held at the home of Sam Hunter Friday, June 3, at 2:30 p.m., conducted by Rev. McDonald of Toddville. Burial was in the Urbana Cemetery.
