All of this information fits JOHN E. Sullivan. In the early 1900's, John owned a farm supply store a couple of miles just south of this Cemetery.

On 5 Dec 1897, John married Mary Louise McCorkle Crawford, the widow of A.B.F. Crawford. A.B.F and John E. were first cousins. The 1900 Census indicates this to be the second marriage for both John and Mary. No information is know relating to John's first wife, or if they had children.

After the death of Mary, John married Etta Billingsley on 17 Dec 1916. On the 1920 Census, John, age 83 and still a merchant, and Etta are listed in Tate Co.

According to the Confederate Grave document, John died in 1922 and was buried in Dean - Crawford Cemetery a couple of miles from his store. Obviously, he is buried in an unmarked grave.

Etta died in Memphis on 17 Sept 1940 according to Shelby Co, TN death records. Per Footprints in Time, she is buried in Senatobia, MS in Bethesda Cemetery.
