Mr. D. Luther Imes, 78, of McCoysville died Tuesday, December 12, 1972 in the Lewistown Hospital.
He was a retired farmer. He was born February 23, 1894 at Doyles Mills a son of the late Samuel and Anna Stong Imes.
Mr. Imes was a member of the Rock Assembly of God.
Survivors include his wife, Jenetta M., and six sons, Charles S. and Melvin L. of Mifflin Star Rte. Blair W. of McAlisterville, R. Lee and Lehman T. both of McCoysville, David L. of Port Royal, RD2, two daughters Mrs. Donald (Stella) Brandt of Enola and Mrs. Robert (Connie) Horst of Camp Hill; a sister Mrs. Sarah Sheaffer of McCoysville and three brothers, Lloyd of McCoysville, Foster of Loganton, and Niemond of Newburg; 29 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:00 pm from Henry's Funeral Home, Honey Grove with Rev. Frank J. Swartz officiating. Interment will be in St. Paul's Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Funeral Home Thursday evening from 7 to 9 pm.
