She was born June 29, 1928, in Chicago, Illinois, to Ferdinand J. and Mary C. Tayen Frett. On February 7, 1948, she married Albert Mauser in Hobart, Indiana and moved to Gassville in 1978 from Portage, Indiana.
Mrs. Mauser was a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church where she served as a lector and was past president of the Council of Catholic Women. She was a member of the Red Hat Society, the Baxter Regional Medical Center Auxiliary and was a volunteer with the Bloodmobile.
Survivors are three daughters: Andrea (Dan) Gleason: Los Lunas, New Mexico, Adele Mauser: Valparaiso, Indiana and Kay (Larry) Colon: Porter, Indiana; and a granddaughter: Kelly Guba: Valparaiso. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a brother: Jack Frett and a sister: Betty Mattingly.
A Memorial Mass will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, May 23, 2012, at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church with Reverend Christopher Okeke as celebrant.
Private interment will be in Gassville Cemetery.
