Westfield Newpaper March 3, 1924

Mrs. Eliza Jane (Dwire) Rocke, widow of Christopher C Rocke, died at her home on the Russell Road Saturday afternoon at 1:20 o'clock. Pneumonia was the cause of death. Mrs. Rocke was born in South Starksboro, VT. September 24, 1869, the daughter of Louis Dwyer and Mary J Dwyer. She married Mr. Rocke in Bristol VT., Dec. 25, 1883. For 21 years they made their home in Lincoln, VT., coming to Huntington to reside about 19 years ago. Mrs. Rocke is survived by three children, Mrs. Mary Morton and Miss Alice D Rocke of this town and Christopher L Rocke of Russell, two brothers, Loren Dwyer of Lingoln, VT and Burton L Dwyer of this town., nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Her husband died December 3, 1922. The funeral will be held at 2:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon from her late home. Rev I.H. Childs will officiate.
