Christopher Clarence Rocke, 59 years passed away at his hime in Norwich Bridge district, Sunday after a lingering illness. He had been in the employ of the Boston & Albany R.R. for many years and was a gate tender at the Main Street Crossing. for a long period. He was one of the leading members of the Woronoco Tribe of Red Men and was influential in the affairs of the coucil. The Woronoco Tribe assisted in conducting the funeral in the Federated Church Tuesday afternoon, While Rev. Irving H Childs officiated. Burial was in Norwich Bridge Cemetery. The deceased was a native of Plattsburgh, N.Y.. Besides his widow, Mrs. Eliza Dwyer Rocke of Bennington, VT., one son Christopher of Huntington, (MA) and two daughters Mrs. Mary Dalton of Huntington, and Miss Alice Rocke a teacher at Boston.
