The book "Osceola Mills From The Beginning", by Jasper and Gerald Fritz stated "On May 20, 1890 Father Cyril Gulovich was sent to Osceola Mills to organize people of St. Mary's Orthodox Church. The very first Church Committee consisted of Michael Moroz, Steve Hudak, Joahn Skiba, Andrew Colman and Andrew Hawrileak." Andrew Hawrileak is believed to be Andrew Haverlock.
The Progress, Clearfield, PA, Obituary of Andrew Haverlock (Tuesday, January 16, 1934,), Andrew Haverlock, for over forty-two years a well known and highly esteemed resident of this place died very unexpectedly at his home here on Thursday morning , January 11, 1934, death resulting from a heart attack. When stricken, the family physician was called but nothing could be done to prolong his life, and the end came peacefully retaining consciouness up to the last. The deceased was born in Austria Hungary in May 1856, making his age 78 years. His wife died about nine years ago, but surviving are four daughters, and two sons, Namely, Mrs. Andrew Chernushan, of Irvona, Mrs. William J. Delansky, Misses Sue and Ann Haverlock of Osceola Mills, and John and William Haverlock of Cleveland, Ohio. Funeral services were held from the Russian Orthodox Church on Sunday, January 14, the body interred in the Russian Cemetery.
