Mrs. Mathilda Wagner, 86, of 689 W. Ninth Ave., died Saturday at 9 p.m. at Mercy Hospital.
She wa born in Johnsburg on Nov. 20, 1881, and had resided in Oshkosh the past 15 years. She was married on Feb. 10, 1903, to Joseph Wagner, who preceded her in death on July 22, 1944.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Joseph Taff, Mrs. Elmer Olig, Mt. Calvary, Mrs. Gilbert Rieder, New Holstein and Mrs. John Long, Milwaukee; four sons, Edwin and Paul Wagner, Oshkosh; 36 grandchildren and 56 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at St. John Catholic Church, Johnsburg. The body will lie in state at Zacherl Funeral Home, Fond du Lac, after 2 p.m. today.
