Centre Times, State College, PA, Obituary of Alex Kost (September 11, 1984), Alex Kost 74, of 804 Stone St., Osceola Mills, died at Centre Community Hospital Staurday at 11:45 pm Mr Kost was owner of Mid-State Electrical Engineering Co., Osceola Mills. He was a member of the Columbia Fire Company, Osceola Mills, and former member and past president of Osceola Mills borough council. Mr Kost was past president of Osceola Mills Rotary Club . He was a member of St. Mary's Orthodox Church. Mr Kost was born in Philipsburg Sept. 12, 1909, a son of John and Anna Marko Kost. He was married to Julia Buida, who survives. He also is survived by three brothers; Andrew of Jamestown, NY , John of Sacramento, Califo. and George of Osceola Mills; seven sister; Mary Nelson of Jamestown, NY, Ann Hayes of Cleveland, Ohio, Julia Reisser and Irene Powers, both of Merchantville, N.J., Helen Olds of Van Nuys, Calif., Sue Archer of Oseola Mills, and Elizabeth Zakutney of Houtzdale. Requiem services will be a t St. Mary's Orthodox Church, Osceola Mills, Wednesday at 10 am with the Rev. Nicholas Solak Jr., Officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends will be recieved at Heath Funeral Home, Osceola Mills, Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm Parastas will be at the funeral home Tuesday at 7:30 pm.
