She was born in Pecan Island and lived in Cameron until 2005 when she moved to Gillis. She was an active member of Gillis Baptist Church. She worked for Dyson Lumber Co. for many years. She was a also a loving wife, mother and grandmother and loved her Lord and Savior the most.
She is survived by her husband, Charles (Punchie) Dosher of Gillis; sons, Ronald Dosher of Gillis and Christopher Dosher of Bluffton, SC; daughter, Brenda Dosher Mooney of Gillis; brother, Harvey Vaughn of Sulphur; numerous grandchildren , great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Her funeral will be Saturday, 10am, May 19, 2012 at Gillis Baptist Church. Visitation will begin Friday 3pm-9pm at the church. Burial will be in First Baptist Cemetery Cameron, LA under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles. Family request that memorials be made to Gillis Baptist Church benevolent fund.
