CLOVIS, N.M. — Lamon Wilson, 85, of Clovis died Tuesday, May 15, 2012, in Amarillo, Texas.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in The Chapel, 1500 Thornton St., in Clovis with the Rev. Ken Caldwell, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow
in Lawn Haven Memorial
Gardens. Arrangements are by Muffley Funeral Home
of Clovis.
Mr. Wilson was born Nov. 30, 1926, in Robertstown, Ga., to Becky Elmer and Addie Mae Collier Wilson. He married Irene Elizabeth Weaver on Dec. 11, 1945, in Blue Ridge, Ga.
Survivors include a daughter, Imagene Rainey of Amarillo; a son, Lamon "Bill" Wilson Jr. of Dalton, Ga.; and 13 grandchildren.
