Mr. Callicotte died Tuesday, Aug. 3, at his residence in Rye.
He was born June 27, 1925 in Cameron, the son of Macon L. and Suzie Bell Breeden Callicotte.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 10 brothers and sisters. Mr. Callicotte served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Survivors include his former wife; sons, Jason Callicotte of Rye, Michael Evans of Friendswood and Patrick Loran Evans of Clearlake and sisters, Ola Thrasher of Rye and Stella Caffery of Groveton.
Cochran Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
