Kathryn B. Roth, 80, of Church of God Home, Carlisle, formerly of Carlisle, died Thursday, March 18, 1999 at the home.

Born Jan. 24, 1919 in Cumberland County, she was a daughter of the late Harry E. and Elsie Gayman Bowers. She was the widow of Roy H. Roth.

Mrs. Roth was a former house manager for Allenberry Playhouse, Boiling Springs.

She was a member and deacon emeritus of First Church of the Brethren, Carlisle.

Surviving are one son, Richard R. of Enola; two daughters, Lois I. Hassinger of Myerstown and Carol E. Gordon of Carlisle; five sisters, Isabel Burkholder of Newville, Reba Cressler of Shippensburg, Betty Worley of Columbus, Ohio, Jean Donnelly of Camp Hill and Edna Snyder of Carlisle; nine grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Elden, John, Lester and Kenneth Bowers; and three sisters, Lowetta Bowers, Alda Mentzer and Evelyn Kutz.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in First Church of the Brethren, 1340 Forge Road, Carlisle, with the Revs. Edward L. Poling and Jan E. Custer officiat- ing. Burial will be at the conven-ience of the family in Westminster Memorial Gardens, North Middle- ton Township. There will be no viewing or visitation.

Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home, Carlisle, is handling arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be made to her church.
