MRS. SUSANNAH MAY CORBIN

Of 321 Twenty-first avenue, died at her home at 6.30 o'clock this
morning after an extended illness. She was born in the city on June 21,
1877, a daughter of Jacob and Sarah E. (Chathams) Otto. Her husband,
Edgar A. Corbin, died some years ago. Mrs. Corbin served as county
interpreter for deaf mutes for a number of years and spent much of her
time among them, looking after their interests. She was a member of the
Fourth street Church of God, the Ladies' auxiliary to the B. of R.T.,
the Red Cross Dames of Malta and Juniata grange, No. 889. Surviving are
her mother, who resided with her, four sons and daughters, Mrs. J. B.
Eason of Tucson, Ariz., E. A. Corbin and Miss Ella M. Corbin, at home,
and J. O. Corbin of the city, ten grandchildren, two brothers and two
sisters, Mrs. E. R. Bowser of Pittsburgh, A. E. and W. E. Otto and Mrs.
T. R. Weyandt, all of the city.

The funeral of Mrs. Susannah May Corbin, late of 321 Twenty-first
avenue, will be held in the Fourth Street Church of God Saturday
afternoon at 2 o'clock followed by interment in Fairview cemetery.
Juniata grange, No. 889, will conduct services at the home this evening
at 7.45 o'clock.
