She had two brothers both that were pilots during the Vietnam era, I am told by Rose Ellen Congrove they flew civilians that flew for Air America, She has a sister named Rose Corbin Eason, married to a Dr. Eason, of Olympia, WA. Her brothers were located in Mcminnville, OR, and San Diego, CA.
After Ellen's husband Philip Russell Congrove, he died in 1963 at age 50, from complications of surgery.
During her lifetime, Ellen Congrove helped raise her brother Ed's children in Pennsylvana, taught
school in Scottsdale, AZ, and Sonoita, AZ, helped her husband, Phil, farm in Medford and Vale, Oregon, and raised a family. Her children are John Philip Congrove and Rose Ellen Congrove Saylor.
