Viola M. Dobbelaere, 81, died Sunday, May 13, at Estelle's Hospice House in Ocala, Fla.

She was born May 28, 1930, in Paulding County, the daughter of Arthur I. and Frances E. (Hart) Harrow. On Nov. 4, 1950, she married Morris R. Dobbelaere, who survives. She was a member of Divine Mercy Catholic Parish, Paulding Eagles, Friendly Neighbors Farm Bureau Council, Eagles Lodge #2405 and was a past member of Busy Neighbors Extension Club.

She is also survived by her children, Cathy (Larry) Thornell, Tom (Shelly) Dobbelaere and Carole (Mark) Gross, all of Paulding, Cindy (Rich) Skiver of Defiance, Tim (Tami) Dobbelaere of Oakwood, and Denise (Joel) Althauser of Kenton; a brother, James (Jeanne) Harrow of Cecil; two sisters, Marjorie Howell of Paulding and Joan (Max) Pease of Latty; 19 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; brothers-in-law, Fred Grindstaff and Joe Hale; and a sister-in-law, Luetta Harrow.

She was preceded in death by two daughters, Frances Marie and Julie Annett Dobbelaere; a brother, Richard Harrow; two sisters, Mary Louise Grindstaff and Pauline Hale; and a brother-in-law, Clayton Howell.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, May 21, at Divine Mercy Catholic Parish with the Very Rev. G. Allan Fillman officiating. Burial will follow in Live Oak Cemetery, Paulding.
