Gardner – On Friday morning, April 18, 1941, at 12:30 o'clock, MICHAEL LEE GARDNER, of 2629 Cleveland Avenue, son of the late Ella Virginia Lee and Edward M. Gardner, beloved husband of the late Viola Boone and the late Mary Ellen Mongon and Alice Hayes. Father of Mrs. Alcee L. Krebs, Mrs. Viola Kassar, grandfather of Annie, Norma and Louise Krebs, Alex J. Newland, Mrs. R. Flick, Mrs. H. Aucoin and Mrs. G. K. Wetherford, brother of Edward and Charles Gardner, Mrs. W. Flick, Mrs. J. Welsh, Mrs. T. S. Mourain, Mrs. M. Frederick and the late Mrs. S. J. Comiskey and the late William Gardner.

Funeral took place from the funeral home of Pat J. McMahon-Coburn Compan, 2305 Canal Street, corner of North Miro Street, on Saturday afternoon, April 19, 1941 at 2 o'clock. Religious services at St. Joseph Church, Tulane Avenue and Derbigny Street.

Interment in Cypress Grove cemetery.
