Emma died before her 35th birthday, leaving Sherman with two little sons:

~ Clarence Harvey Hutson (1899-1926)
Sherman remarried c.1906 to Anna E Idlewine (1869-??), daughter of Henry & Mary C Idlewine of Ripley Co, IN. Sherman & Anna were enumerated together in the 1910 through 1930 censuses.
Sherman T., Emily J., Wm. Allen, Clarence H., and Anna E. Hutson have headstones in Big Cedar Cemetery.
