Edna Reese May, 96, formerly of Hershey, passed away on Wednesday, May 9, 2012, in Wayne Memorial Hospital, Goldsboro, NC. She was born Sunday, September 12, 1915, in Lebanon County to the late Irvin and Ada (Schaffner) Reese. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Charles E. May, in 1984. Edna was a 1934 graduate of Palmyra High School. She was a member of Mountain View Bible Church in Hershey, where she taught Sunday school, was president of the Ladies Missionary Society, and was active in the adult Bible classes. She was also a member of TAP Ministry and Child Evangelism Fellowship.

She is survived by a daughter, Rosette Wester of Faison, NC; two sons, Elwood May of Elizabethtown and Randall May of Hershey; 10 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and 5 sisters, Ethel Stover, Marilyn Smith, Caroline Dailey, Naomi Epple, and Verna Snavely. She was predeceased by 4 brothers, a son, Richard May, and a great-granddaughter.
