Ethel M. Stover, 97, of Annville, died Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at Cedar Haven. She was the wife of the late Lester L. Stover.

Born in Hanover Twp. on July 24, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Irvin and Ada (Shaffner) Reese. Ethel worked as a supervisor for Hershey Laundry. She was a member of St. John's E.C. Church, Steelstown, where she was involved in the missionary society, head of the nursery department, visited shut-ins and enjoyed crocheting baby blankets. She was also a member of WCTU and volunteered at Twin Pines church camp. Ethel collected salt and pepper shakers and bells, was an avid Phillies fan, and enjoyed supporting her family's youth sporting events.

Surviving are sons Gerald I. Stover, husband of Derith of Palmyra, Gene E. Stover, husband of Ruth of Annville, Lee W. Stover, husband of Bonnie of Gaines, PA, daughter Romaine C. Blauch, wife of Sam of Hershey, nine grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and sisters Caroline Dailey of Lebanon, Naomi Epple of Kentucky and Verna Snavely of Palmyra. She was preceded in death by brothers Clarence and Irvin Reese, and sisters Edna May and Marilyn Smith.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at 11 a.m. at St. John's E.C. Church, 683 Steelstown Rd., Annville, PA 17003. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will take place in the adjoining church cemetery.
