Junior Alford Armstrong
Junior Alford Armstrong, age 65, of East Washington Street, Grafton, West Virginia passed away on Wednesday, May 2, 2007 at the Louis A. Johnson Veterans Administration Medical Center in Clarksburg, WV. He was born May 16, 1941 in Grafton, the son of the late Hubert Howard Armstrong and Mary Elizabeth (Austin) Armstrong.
Surviving is his wife Patricia Jean (Miller) Armstrong; two daughters: Patricia Bradshaw and husband James Bradshaw of Biloxi, Mississippi, Krisie Bailey and husband William Bailey of Tunnelton, WV; his nine grandchildren; one brother: Howard J. Armstrong and wife Sue Armstrong of Grafton, WV; several nieces and nephews and cousins. Mr. Armstrong was preceded in death by his grandson Gunther Alexander Green.
Mr. Armstrong had previously been employed with Builders Service and Supply of Grafton, WV. A projectionist for the Grafton Drive-In Theater and the Manos Theater in Grafton. He once worked for BaileyÙus Radiator Shop in Morgantown, WV and had the Capri Pizza Parlor in Grafton.
Mr. Armstrong was a member of the Church of the Covenant of Grafton, WV and was a veteran of the United States Army Reserve Unit with the 363rd Military Police of Grafton for many years.
At the request of Mr. Armstrong he will be cremated with a memorial service to be conducted at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes that donations be made in Mr. Armstrong's memory to the Church of the Covenant of Grafton at P.O. Box 26, Grafton, West Virginia 26354.
