Beatrice G. (Shull) Fisher, age 87 of Clare and formerly of Midland, passed away February 16, 1990 at her home.
She was born on May 26, 1902 in Clare County, the daughter of George W. and Nora (Wood) Langworthy. In 1920 she married Robert C. Shull and he predeceased her on November 7, 1950 in Clare. She then married Ralph J. Fisher on January 6, 1966 and he predeceased her on November 9, 1980.
Mrs. Fisher attended the Central Michigan Normal College in Mt. Pleasant and received her teaching certificate. She was a member of the Dover Baptist Church until it disbanded.
Surviving are three sons, Clarence Vera Shull, George Lynn Shull, and Terry Spencer Shull, all of Clare; a daughter, Mrs. Merrill (Merne) Hutchins of Lake; three stepsons, Arthur J. Fisher, James Fisher, both of Midland, and Ralph J. Fisher of Mt. Pleasant; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Stephen (Mary Ellen) Shephard, Mrs. Floyd (Ruth) McCallisster, both of Midland, and Mrs. Alfred (Nellie Jean) Lamphar of Vancouver, Wash.; a sister, Mrs. Rosalie Lemmen of Clare; and 29 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Garth K. Shull, and a brother, Gerald W. Langworthy.
Funeral services were held on February 20 in the Stephenson-Wyman Funeral Home in Clare. Burial was in Cherry Grove Cemetery, Clare. Clare Sentinel dated 2-20/1990 (Thanks, gladwin gal, for typing the obit!
