Funeral services for Ida Victoria Applequist Scoles, 76, 710 North Street, will be Tuesday, April 29, at 2 p.m. at the First Covenant Church with the Rev. Tim Anderson officiating and burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Nyman.
Arrangements are by Nelson Boylan Funeral Chapel.
Mrs Scoles died Saturday, April 26, at Vista Gardens Nursing Home after an extended illness.
The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Victor Peterson, she was born February 28, 1904 in Chicago, where she lived as a child with most of the rest of her life in Page and Montgomery Counties. She had lived in Nebraska and Kansas before moving to southwest of Stanton.
Her first marriage on June 13, 1925 was to Martin Johnson, who died in 1962. She married Arthur Tell in 1964 and he died in 1972. She was married in 1974 to Orie Scoles, who survives
Also surviving are a son, Carroll Johnson, Kansas City, Missouri, step-son, Ronald Scoles of Griswold; step daughter, Mrs. Robert McNees of Clarinda, 10 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Mrs. Scoles was a member of the First Covenant Church and Senior Citizens Club here.
