Maud Sherri Sheppard left us peacefully at her home on May 7, 2012.

Born July 17, 1926 to Fredrick Alma and Maud G. Cowley. Married Joseph L. (Bud) Sheppard September 1, 1949. Marriage later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple.

Aside from being a Mom, Sherri had a number of jobs. She especially loved working as a secretary at Howard Driggs Elementary and Cottonwood High School.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Christine Sheppard, brothers, George and Irvin Cowley and sister, Anita Cowley Rice.

Sherri is survived by her sons; Jeff Sheppard, his son Bryant Sheppard and stepdaughter, Brandy Slagowski; Jon Sheppard and his daughter Bailey Joe. Sherri was also the Grandmother to and is survived by Cheyenne Brown, Christopher McCauley, and Mathew Hughes as well as many nieces, nephews and lifelong friends.

Funeral services will be Monday, May 14, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Holladay 14th Ward, 4917 S Viewmont St (approx. 2085 E.) in Holladay, UT, where friends may call beginning at 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. prior to the service. Interment at the Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
