Born April 24, 1882 in Brooklyn, N.Y., a daughter of George W. and Mary Elizabeth Pullen Davis. Married Frederick Alma Cowley Feb. 18, 1903, in Salt Lake City. Marriage later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. He died April 2, 1955.
Member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Survivors; son, Irvin R. Cowley; daughters, Mrs. Anita E. Rice, Sherrie Sheppard, all Salt Lake City; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; brother, William E. Davis; sisters, Lula c. Heintz and Sharlotte L. Joslyn, all of San Pedro, Calif.
Funeral services Saturday 2:30 p.m. in the Holladay 14th Ward chapel. Friends may call at 4760 S. State Friday, 4 to 8 p.m. and prior to the services on Saturday at the chapel. Burial in Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
