Antigo Daily Journal, 8 August 1996, p. 3. Margaret Sikora. Margaret Eva Sikora, 79, of Antigo, died Wednesday at Eastview Medical and Rehabilitation Center. Mrs. Sikora was born on Aug. 27, 1916 in New London, a daughter of the late Frank and Avis (Andrews) Johnson. She married Felix Sikora on June 1, 1933 in Waukegan, Ill. He preceded her in death on Sept. 27, 1977. Mrs. Sikora moved to Antigo with her family as a child and following marriage the couple remained here until 1940. In that year they moved to Milwaukee and stayed there until returning to Antigo in 1946. She was a cook in area restaurants from 1971 to 1977 and was employed at Sikora's Grocery Store in Neva. Mrs. Sikora was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Antigo. She enjoyed needlework and her special friends at Hardee's. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Loren (Peggy) Doucette, Antigo; six sons, James (Leing), Oconto, Edward (Nita), Antigo, Charles, Seiberling, Fla., Paul (Audrey), Antigo, Thomas (Bev), Neva and Richard (Sharon), Lakeland, Fla.; a sister, Mrs. Verne (Phyllis) Teske, Oak Creek; two brothers, Steve (Delores) Johnson, Morehead, S.D. and Frederick (Amiko) Johnson, Waukegan; 27 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by twin son and daughter, Larry and Mary, a brother, Walter Johnson, a sister, Edith Bebeau and a grandchild. Funeral services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at Bradley Funeral Home, 1550 Neva Rd. with Rev. Jeremiah Worman officiating. Burial will be [in] Queen of Peace Cemetery, Antigo. Visitation will be Thursday from 3:30 to 8 p.m. and Friday from noon until the time of services at the funeral home. There will be a 4:30 p.m. wake service Thursday.
