Antigo Daily Journal, 19 November 1963 in the same paper, the following obituary was published: Frank Johnson Funeral Rites. Funeral services for Frank J. Johnson, 76, of 607 Fifth avenue who died Monday will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Soman and Rhodes funeral chapels. The Rev. Gene Lackore of the First Methodist church will officiate and burial will be in Antigo Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral chapels after 2 p.m. Wednesday. Mr. Johnson, a retired employe[e] of the Milk Bottle Crate company, was a resident of Antigo for the past 40 years. He was born Jan[uary] 10, 1887, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank S. [sic] Johnson. In 1914 he was married at New London to Avis Andrews. His wife died in November of 1949. Surviving are three daughters and three sons, Mrs. Felix (Margaret) Sikora of Deerbrook, Mrs. Bernard (Edith) Bebeau of Green Bay[,] Mrs. Verne (Phyllis) Teske of Grafton, Wis., Frank of Fargo, N. Dak., Walter, address unknown, and Frederick, with the United States navy; 22 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
