Viktor Manfred Eden (ne Edin) was born on August 1, 1883, in Overammer, Jamtland, Sweden, the son of Nils Johan and Kristina Agneta (Jonsdotter) Edin.

Victor emigrated from Sweden in October 1903 through Liverpool, England (September 24, 1903) to Quebec (October 2, 1903) on the ship SS Tunisian, with a destination of Braham, MN. From Quebec he went through Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan to Minnesota. The records from Sweden show Viktor emigrated to America on July 6, 1903. He left the port of Trondheim, Norway and has the number 7821 in their records.

Victor married Ellen Margaret Johnson, who was born in South Range, WI in 1917. They had one daughter, Marjorie Frances. He worked as a stockman for Marshall-Wells Company until retirement.
