Mrs. H. McDougall, 77, died Monday afternoon at 5 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Miss Elizabeth Hammill Greenbush, after an illness of several years.
She was born August 22, 1841, in northern Ireland, where she spent the early part of her life. There she was married to William Hammill. Shortly after their marriage, Mr and Mrs. Hammill came to Sheboygan county, settling near Hingham, where they lived for many years. Mr. Hammill passed away at Hingham, and was buried in the Lyndon cemetery.
Several years later Mrs. Hammill was married to H. Mc Dougall. They made their home for a number or years near Cascade. Fourteen years ago, they moved to Greenbush.
Mr. McDougall preceded his wife in death about nine years ago.
Since that time Mrs. Mc Dougall made her home with her daughter, Miss Elizabeth Hammill.
The deceased is survived by three daughters, Mrs. J. Strack, WinooskI; Mrs. H. Pool, Plymouth; and Miss Elizabeth at home; two sons, William Hammill, Lena, Oconto county: and Thomas Hammill, Greenbush; four granddaughters, and one grandson.
The funeral will be held Wednesday morning, from the home at 9:30 and from the M. E. church at 10, the Rev. J. J. Gelling, officiating. Burial will be made In the Baptist cemetery at Lyndon.
