Was born in Quebec Canada (French Canadian) in 1829, he later moved down to Gold Hill Nevada in 1860 where he worked as a miner. He was killed April 7th 1869 at age 40 in the Crown Point Mine fire (Along with 27 other miners)
He was buried in the Catholic Section of the Gold Hill Cemetery. His grave marker has been smashed or stolen by vandals.
