Ouida Bailey Peery, 78, died Tuesday, July 11, 2000, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson. She was born Sept. 25, 1921, in Webster County. She was a retired homemaker and a member of the Assembly of God in Carthage.
Services were Wednesday, July 12, 2000, at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. William S. Stewart officiating. Burial was in Ebenezer Cemetery.
Survivors include four daughters, Carey McNeese of Meridian, Myra Naef of Brandon, Rene Fields of Eupora and Melinda Peery of Meridian; two sons, Arnett Peery of Madison and Kennett Peery of Gulfport; three sisters, Charlene Dean of MaGee, Sue Keen of Brandon and Tillie Bowman of Carthage; three brothers, Buddy Bailey of Brandon, Brown Bailey of Greenville and Charlie Bailey of Grand Forks, N.D.; 16 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren.
