Mrs. Lucy Acker, a former resident of Newport, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. R. E. Wright, in Detroit, Tuesday of last week. She was aged 64 years, 9 months and 19 days. Funeral services were held at the home of her daughter, Mrs. George Seaman, in Newport, on Friday and burial was in Newport cemetery.
