John Conrad Acker, a native of Oliver Township, Perry County, and a barber at Newport for a number of years, died near Milroy at 10:40 p. m. Sunday of a heart attack while he was returning home to Lewistown by car from a ride into Havice Valley. Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. George I. Seaman and Mrs. Ruth Wright, both Newport. Funeral services will be held at the Myers Funeral Home, Newport, Thursday at 2:30 p. m.
